How long does it typically take you to look back on something you've written and say "what was I thinking?".
The only thing I look back on in that manner is my old character driven stuff. So I’d say a couple of years. I may look back on my Cracked articles in that manner someday, but right now I’m pretty proud of the work I’ve put out for them.
